At 4 points during the year we host events bringing together the whole artist community.

We always make sure these include people who can’t make it up the stairs into our building, either by happening offsite, or with an online option.

🍂 Laying the Floor (October): our Autumn welcome event, to meet artists joining the community, and lay the groundwork for the year ahead 🏠 / 💻 (blended online and in person).

❄️ Winter Celebration (December): our xmas party, held offsite at a partner venue. In 2024 we were at our neighbours, Bard Books 🏠

🌱 Raising the Floor (March): our annual forum for sharing the organisation’s progress this financial year, and getting input from the community 🏠 / 💻 (blended online and in person).

☀️ Summer Celebration (July): a big public celebration of CDS’ work 🏠. In 2024 we hosted Making Sh*t Happen, at Ugly Duck - with a performance party and community fair.
